28qt Sterilite?

Joejr14

Grand Bubble Burster
I feel somewhat bad about putting a 4 foot corn into a 28 quart sterilite.

I just need someone to tell me it's not cruel and she'll be nice and happy.

I'm pretty sure a 28 qt box has the same floor area as a 15 gal tank, which is Ok.
But I personally prefer a little more space than that.

All my corns are in glass aquaria.
I've got some 15 gal that are 24"x12"x12". These are fine for my sub adults.
I like the 20L better, they are 6" longer(30"). My kings are in those.
I just bought 2-55gal tanks yesterday, and think I'm gonna divide them and put the kings in them. Then I'll have 3 20L tanks for the corns.
See my thread called Dilemma in the misc corn snake discussion.
Although I'm going to have a real dilemma if I keep buying snakes, and try to keep them in aquariums.

I've got 12 snakes total now, and I cant even imagine trying to use glass aquariums. I'd be way out of space, but thanks to a rack and tubs I can have 12 snakes without a problem sitting on my dresser.

I wish I had a house to load snakes up in. I'm confined to my bedroom and bathroom in my apartment.

the snakes get more floor space with a 28 Qt. blanket box than the fish tanks that you shown and they are more organized easier to clean and are more energy efficient. With that many snakes make a rack, I see that you can work with wood by the nice stand that you built. By the way what a clean collection
that you keep. looks like you just set it up for the photo. it must take you a whole lot of time to clean them that well . Everthing looks brand new ! Nice job.LOL Vinny

Thanks Vin, It's really not that bad to keep clean.
I've been toying with the idea of going to a rack system and probably will by next season as I intend to give breeding a try.
Here's some pics of the rest of the house, That was just the corn snake room.
LOL

Looks great Mike, though you've dated yourself with the Jim Morrison poster, the lava lamp, and the "I Dream of Jeannie" lamp. :grin01: A fireplace in FL? That's a new one! LOL
