8-month Update!

I just love seeing the difference between corns and when they grow. I haven't felt the need to do a progression thread, since I don't see myself committing to it all that much... so I hope these random updates every many months will do!

This is my only corn, a snow named Sydney. She's my buddy. We didn't start off on great terms though! Initially she was very snappy, and I have been bit countless times - actually countless. I don't doubt that it was in the hundreds, as one sitting with her usually saw about 10-15 bites before I even got her out of her vive, never mind actually holding her. Thanks to Nanci's advice though, she calmed down pretty quickly and within two weeks of having her she was a completely different snake.
I am happy to announce that since having her for 8 months (almost to the day!), we haven't had an "incident" in 7 months! I don't doubt that there will be a time in the future when she strikes at me again, but at least I'll know it'll be a misunderstanding or something I personally will have done to upset or confuse her.

So, here she is: in the first photo she is about 15 months old. The second photo was taken today (April 13th, 2014) at nearly 2 years old. She will be 2 next month, actually!
Oddly enough I am wearing the same shirt in both photos. I swear it wasn't planned.

Aah, gotta love progress.

Thanks for looking :)

They really do grow so quickly. It still feels like I just got my first snake, and she's 3 this year!
