Ok so in another thread I made someone told me to take him to the vet for possible RI.

Found out fable is a She btw.

So She does have RI (very little he said) and gave us meds for her.

She takes very very little lol, every other day (just found this out yesterday) so she is supposed to get meds tomorrow.

She is also shedding.... trying to. I think the is having trouble shedding she started yesterday right before we went to the vet I called and made sure it was ok to still bring her he said it was fine. He said she should be ok for the shed and feed her tomorrow if she wants it.

So yesterday she shed her head and about a quarter inch behind her head and thats it no more shedding yet........? I dont think its supposed to take this long is it?

I went ahead and fed her she seemed very eager to eat!!!

I am kind of worried about her so hoping for the best.

However if need be I will get pic of her shedding if you need it but what should I do about her shedding? Since I just fed her I know I have to wait two days but should I give her a warm bath?

If so how warm because warm to us since we are 98.5 give or take degrees and she likes 82 warm to us would be like 100 for washing hands or bath...

Dont wana hurt her!

Put a humid hide in with her.

Get a small plastic box with a lid, like a sandwich box.

Cut a hole in the side big enough for her to get in and out.

Put some pieces of damp kitchen paper in the box. They need to fel cool or lukewarm to you.

Put the box in the middle of the tank, between the warm and cool ends.

She can then go into the tub where it will be more humid. This usually helps with shedding.

Good luck!

I second the humid hide; it's a good way for her to soften up the skin that still needs to shed without the stress of a bath. Since she just ate I'd want to leave her alone for a day or two before bathing her so she can digest in peace.
