A reintroduction of sorts..

Been a member of the forum for a couple years now but kind of fell off for a long while. Long story short, there's been some major life changes in the marriage dept., all my collection minus on ball python is gone. Yes, all my desert kings, all my cool corn morphs, all my red-tails.. Sad but true. Anyhow, the new gf is not historically a fan of snakes, so rebuilding it will take time. I've got her to the point of holding the BP, visited a serpentarium with her, and I'm taking her to her first reptile expo this weekend. She's said, "ok, if you get another snake, I get to pick it out." Seems fair, so there's hope.. lol About me, name's Jason, I'm active duty military stationed here at Ft. Bragg, and a long time snake collector/field herper/wannabe herpetologist. Hoping to get back and be more active on the boards again and talk to some fellow corn enthusiasts.

Welcome back Jason! Good luck with getting back into the hobby. I can't imagine having to get rid of all mine and only keeping one...

Like Wayne, I would also like to thank you for serving. :)

Thanks for the welcome back.. And yeah, I almost cried watching them all go. I'd worked a while to breed in some morphs and get some of the ones I had but such is life I guess. I'm sure there's plenty of cool snakes out there for me to acquire now.. some new morphs to get a hold of.. :)

It took me 16 ( long ) years to convince my wife to let me get a snake !!Finally got one last month !

I was married for 16 years and divorced two and a half before I finally got mine. The good news for you is you still have your wife!

P.S. I was active duty USN for 9 years, way back when...
