first ?....please let me know of any good websites to buy cornsakes..ive only found a few so far..
second ?... my room has an air conditioner but it doesnt get to cold. now if i had an under the tank heater would that keep it warm enough or should i ad a heat lamp or do something else? any advice would be appreciated...~matt

For the heat thing, it's hard to say without knowing the temperatures in your room exactly, how close the tank is to a vent, and a bunch of other things! The way to find out is to simply buy a thermometer. You can get one at the pet store for $2 tops, just buy one of the ones that you're supposed to stick on the tank. But don't stick it on, just lay it inside the tank on the substrate and now you know if your viv gets warm enough!

As for websites. Any number of breeders found on this forum have awesome snakes. Rich Z., Kathy Love, Mike (there are several mikes on this forum), just to name a few. Go to the snakes for sale section in this site.

About those stick-on thermometers. Bad no-no. Those are notoriously inaccurate, and you could be running temps more than 20 degrees higher than the gauge is actually reading. IMO they are dangerous. If you would like to be accurate with your temps and your humidity go to WalMart and get a DIGITAL thermo/hygro combo. They are usually in the air conditioner/hardware section and they are priced around $15. From what I have heard, they are wonderful, you stick it to one side of the cage and run the probe to the other, and it measures both warm and cool sides. Hope this helps. :)

I actually found mine really accurate. I had a really expensive digital one in addition to the stick on one at one point, and they always read the same thing, always. The sticky one was simply laying on top of the substrate, and the probe was about two inches away on a branch. Then Leonard knocked the probe for the digital one into the water dish, and that was the end of that. But I trust the sticky one because I know that it was exactly the same as the digital.
