could someone please tell me what kind of corn this is
person selling her says she is suppose to be a blood red none defused hypo corn, but she was a rescue so they are not positive I don't know my corns very well. I am new to this. I am also wondering what her price range should be.
she is approx 5' long

Looks like a Hypo, can't see anything Bloodred (which is a selectively bred Diffused, so actually the same thing) in your snake. As I don't live in Canada it's no use to give you any prices ;)
 
Definitely not a bloodred because she has belly checkers. I think she could be a hypo. What price are they asking for her?
 
Well if she doesn't come with any supplies, like an enclosure, I would say that price is quite high. The prices in Canada are usually a bit higher, but that's considerably more than what I would pay.
 
what would be a good price I thought it was high myself but because I don't know that much I wasn't positive. Thank you very much for your help.
 
For an adult hypo, I would say 50-60 max, unless she is carrying any hidden genetics, which could make her be worth more.
 
$200 is the going rate around here for an adult corn with a common single trait morph BUT only if it included suitable equipment. The snake alone in good condition should be max $60 like Olivia says. I would only pay that if it was the exact snake that you absolutely had to have. By the way, at a glance she looks to be in nice shape. I got my first two corns as yearlings with 3 vivs and all accessories (I had to buy thermostats) for $200.
 
I have 5 corns now I only paid approx. $180 for the whole lot. I bought 2 as a pair but only 8 months old for $80 with tank normal male & amelistic female. my other pair anery type A male & normal female for $100 with tank under a year as well. Now they are breeding age & have laid us 28 nice fertile eggs which I hope will hatch. I am trying to find a female to breed with our daughters normal strip corn but I don't know if this female is the right choice or not. as for knowing my snakes I don't really know much about morphs etc. I am trying to learn as much as I can The only reason I know the types of snakes I have is from asking on this site. You are all very helpful & Ithank you all very much for your help.
 
Unless both have some hidden hets, you'd probably get all normals out of them. I would wait until you find snakes that would make interesting offspring together before going to the trouble of breeding them. The snakes don't mind if they don't breed... well maybe the males do in the springtime but that's not their decision to make. LOL

Do you know about Ian's Vivarium for studying morphs? And you can use the Corn Calc on that site to figure out offspring, once you have an idea of the genes involved.
