Afraid of Water?

My baby corn I think is afraid of water, is this common? I NEVER see her go in her water bowl, I only see her drink from it on her own one time (and I've had her for a couple of months now). Whenever I put her back in her viv I've put her in the water bowl a few times, twice she's really guzzled the water down. But every other time she darts out really fast.

I don't think corns are afraid of water. I never seen my amel in the water bowl yet but my younger butter soaked in it for a day once.
Just another.....depends on the snake thing.

Also, snakes don't seem to like being PUT into water, even the ones who would go in on their own. None of my snakes soak either, so it is nothing to worry about.

As long as theres water available, dont worry. Snakes can "smell" water using their tongues, if they need it, they will go get it

My snakes love to take bathes. When ever one of my snakes is about to shed I give then soak in some warm water for 5-10 minutes. They never try to escape, they just lay in the water slighty submerged and drink. Sometimes they'll swim around a little bit, but thats just my snakes.

All of mine hate being put into water. The only time I bathe them is if they have some retained shed, and even then they try to escape constantly.

yeah, my little guy never goes to the water dish either (while I am awake). I assume that they get their water at night (since that is when they are most active I have noticed). I do think it is worrisome not to see them drinking on their own at all though!

Same here, I have never seen mine drinking or in the water. I too tried placing him in his water dish but he just slid right back out and looked at me as if to call me a rude name.
