Almost a week ago I got a two months old Albino Corn. Everything seems to be going fine but just to make sure..

1. I am using a 30 Wyatt light bulb, with it on the tank usually gets to around 80 is this good?
2. The people I bought the snake from told me to turn the light off at night and back on in the morning, this is ok right?

If you use a heat lamp for your snake, make sure you check it often to make sure it's not overheating your container. Do you have a thermostat on it to regulate it?

You have to make sure it's not getting too cold at night when the light is off. Snakes can't see red light so you can use a red light all the time without bothering the snake.
 
I used to use a heat lamp on a 40 gallon tank. It was a 40 watt Exo-Terra red light and was on day and night. It kept the warm side around 87 degrees, with small drops during the night and small rises during the day.

Before that I was using a black light, until I learned it can cause blindness in amels-especially snows.
 
Well i'm using a 30 Wyatt, in the day it usually only gets to about 80.. Sometimes 71 one or higher, right now it's night and the temp is 80 and the light is off. Is this good? Tommorow I plan on getting a Red light, which wyatt should I get?

Also, I just fed him a pinkie two days ago, if that. He hasn't pooped yet, but he has pee`d, is this ok?
