Well, I'm caz223 (Real name carl.), I'm sneaking up on the big 4-0, and been keeping turtles since I was maybe 6 years old, and am relatively new to corn snakes, I've only had them maybe 10 years. My first long term snake was a black and white cal-king, and I still have him. I've had him about 20 years, and he was about 4' when I got him, so I'd guess his age at around 25. I got him from a local grey market reptile shop (Cash only, basement of petstore, not open every day.) that closed up about 10 years ago.
I like kingsnake.com, it's a great source of info, but it's not very (inter)active.
I've looked around various BBs and fora, but found that some of the newer more active ones lack the knowledge that comes from putting the time in.
I have come to the conclusion that they are not reptile keepers, but are people trying to give advice on animals they've only seen pics of.
I no longer wish to be associated with those places.
I ask forgiveness in advance, as I go off half-cocked sometimes, and have to learn the hard way by peeing on the electric fence, but I only make those mistakes once.
I currently co-habitate my space with between 20-30 snakes, mostly colubrids. Kings, corns, milks, ball pythons, and the occasional rubber boa.
I have ARS racks, freedom breeders, as well as homemades and some makeshift housing.
I also keep rats and mice, but it's not entirely for feeders, I have come to respect them, and enjoy their company, but would prefer if they stayed in their housing.
See you around. (Oh, I'm from SW michigan.)
