anery A and anery B as hatchling

Does the yellow neck/jaw develop as the snake ages or will it be apparent as a hatchling. I have a very nice hatchling of grey background, dark black saddle rings and dark grey saddles with no yellow. It is from a snow mother and hypo father.

The cornsnake'll develop the yellow if it's going to. AFAIK they don't hatch out with the yellow on their necks. It fades in over time. Not all develop the yellow though... This guy didn't, and he's Anery A.

Anery hatchlings vs. Charcoal

Here's a pic showing a charcoal (top) and some fresh-hatched anerys (bottom) for you.

:)

(The yellow comes in later with anerys.)

Wow, Kat, may I say that snake is GORGEOUS?!
Do you have any more pics of him? I'd love to see them.

Some anerys will develop their yellows when they mature and some will not. Even the silver queens will sometimes develop yellow on them. (But personally I like them without the yellow...it's more bright that way...IMHO)

Great pics!!!
Love them!!
Post more!!!
