Another feeding thread...

So yeah I wasnt going to make a new thread about feeding corns but 'what the hay'

Anyways whats weird about this is Jasmine, one of our corns we've had for 6+ months has never had any feeding issues, shes always been a good eater. We've fed her live fuzzies and F/T fuzzies with no problems.

About a month ago she stopped eating... Ive tried F/T, live, brained, slitted, and my next attempt is going to be another live and if she doesnt take that then its time to try washing a F/T with joy.

Wish me luck. I just dont understand >.< :shrugs:

One thing I might suggest is maybe offer the mouse warmer?? I had a baby who was a total garbage can that all of a sudden stopped eating.... I rewarmed the pinkie til it was so 'warm' that I couldnt hardly hold onto it and gave it to her and she ate with no problem :shrugs: Some just like to make us worry lol :) Is there anything else that maybe changed?? feeding tub, where the feeders came from, or if you raise your own? maybe a different bedding ?? so many things.... I wish you all the best of luck!!!

Well i certainly wish you the very best of luck. Funny she ate that long then stopped. If nothing has changed in her habitat like temps, cage moved new decorations, and home environment and ect its a real puzzle. Now you just have to try to find the right pieces to get her to eat again.
I don't know if you raise your own pinkies or buy them. Perhaps if you buy them the store has a new distributor? Just a thought...
Again the best of luck to you and Jasmine...

Nothing changed for her, same bedding, same hides, same temps, same everything.

Im going to try to feed her a joy scented fuzzy, at hot temps next time.

So its been about 2 months now and I almost gave up on her. Tonight I went to the pet store and got a live small fuzzie for our other corn Snow White, but not one for Jasmine and decided to try again and offered this fuzzie to jasmine first... and after about 2 minutes of smelling it shes finally eating! Shes got about half way as Im typing this! Yay!
Im starting to think shes a guy and mabye this was a hunger strike for mating? If shes a guy, hes still to young... >< weird.
