I have just returned from 2 weeks holiday ( the first in 15 years) and we had someone move in to take care of my 4 cats and Mr Ripley my corn. We asked specifically (and left signs on the door) for the cats not to be allowed in Mr Ripleys room. Although all was fine on our return and the first night back I got Mr Ripley out, I then fed him Wednesday, I got him out ok yesterday....today he seems very active (he shed whilst I was away and they didn't feed after shed as I'd asked....) and he's just pooped and I've gone to take poop out and he's gone into an S shape. He seems strange. I got the poop out but he remained close by in an s shape and for the first time since I had him I felt a bit intimidated. I've also just found out the cats came in the room....whilst I was away.....I don't know how often and they would have jumped on the viv ( which is why I don't allow it) . He seems very active and loads of burrowing in the aspen, which again he's never done before. Temps are good and there's been no change there. Appreciate any feedback thanks.

I wouldn't worry, maybe you just surprised him when you reached in. If he's not used to the cats they could have made him nervous but I doubt it. I have 4 cats and 4 snakes and the snakes weren't bothered by the cats even when I first got them.

Oh also it's quite normal for corns to be very active in the springtime. My snakes' vivs look like they've been partied in by rock stars every morning!

That did make me giggle....that's exactly what his viv looks like a big party.... I got him out tonight and he was just fine.... Maybe different smells??? I will go back to no cats in mr Ripleys room though....
