Anyone ever feed a rabbit pinkie to a corn?

I did and he hasn't taken anything since:angry01: I had a small litter of rabbit pinkies three weeks ago that were all still born. I decided since they were F/K I would see how many different snakes would take one. Well I had a Hog Island Boa, Rainbow Boa, Ball Python and a Corn each take one. Everyone else has returned to rats just like before with no problems.
Nothing has changed in his husbandry except the rabbit pinkie. I'm hoping that sooner rather than latter he'll just get hungry enough and eat what I offer him. He's never ever been a picky eater before. I'm thinking that if after next week he still hasn't taken a rat or mouse then I may cool him for a month to see if that will jump-start his appetite.
Any thoughts?

I have no idea, but these are guesses based on stuff I've read here.

How big is a rabbit pinkie (I've never seen one)? Is it posible that it was so filling that the corn isn't ready to eat again?

It is also around breeding season, from what I've read here, it is not uncommon for adult snakes to eat less, or stop eating for a while around this time of year.

As long as it doesn't go really long (more than a month or maybe two), and retains muscel tone, it shouldn't be too bad.

But maybe your snake just likes bunnies :p

That's what I'm afraid of.
This male was not in any of my projects this year so I didn't cool him so I don't think he's looking for love but that might be it. This is week 3 now since he has gone with out food so I'm sure that 30g rabbit pinkie is long since warn off. I have a breeding pair of netherlands dwarf rabbits so the pinkies are about 30g when born about the same size as an adult mouse.
Cheers,

I had a 18 month old male (who hadn't been brumated) try to do everything in his power to get out of his cage to find a mate last spring. It doesn't matter if they are young or if they have been brumated or not, some still only want to mate.

My snake still ate for me, but in seriously reduced amounts. He lost about 30 grams during his spring "diet."

I'd keep track of his weight and just keep offering mice or rats until he takes one. (I don't know how big your snake is, but 30 grams was nothing for my snake, in fact it was probably for the best as I think he was a little fat beforehand.)

Only if he starts to lose a lot of weight to where he looks skinny, don't feed him another rabbit pinky.

I seriously doubt he will starve himself just because he can't have a rabbit.
