i don't remember where i found this but i'm SOOO glad i did...
since getting my corn snake i was only feeding him a single pinkie weekly until he got more use to me but i didn't know when i'd need to start feeding 2 pinkies or upgrade to small fuzzies... until i found this approximate chart
late last night around 11pm i noticed he wasn't out cruising his tank like normal even though he'd been fed saturday morning around 2am like i normally do. i opened his habitat, found him under a hid, & used a snake hook to pick him up & immediately noticed you could start to see his spine.
i let him slide back into his tank & thawed another pinkie which he came after within a minute of being in the tank.
i gave him about 20hrs alone & tonight went to weight him to compare to this chart i found to see if i was wrong & was suppose to be feeding him more.
my little one is about 17inches long & 28 grams & i'd only been feeding him a single pinkie the 3 meals since i've had him before he started looking a little thin... which i gave him a 4th meal (1 pinkie) when i did notice it.
i didn't know he was up to eating small fuzzies but i'm so glad i do now... i feel so bad for not knowing this sooner though.
so tomorrow i was going to be picking up some fuzzies & was thinking getting another small box of pinkies just in case the some of the fuzzies are too big.
any other suggestions? & is it safe to wait until my usual feeding date (early saturday morning between 12-2am) or would an earlier feed be better because of the smaller size meals for so long?

The Munson Plan (Sample Feeding Chart):
-When they're on single pinks (2-3g), I feed every 5-6 days. (Snake = 4-15g)
-Double pinks (3g x 2) every 5-6 days. (Snake = 16-23g)
-Small fuzzies (5-7g) every 6-7 days. (Snake = 24-30g)
-Regular fuzzies (7-9g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 30-50g)
-Hoppers (9-12g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 51-90g)
-Weaned (14-20g) every 7 days (Snake = 91-170g)
-Adult (20-30g) every 7-x days (Snake = 170+) See below.
Note: Adult females are fed more frequently than adult males (especially following brumation). Adult females are fed every 7-12 days; adult males are fed every 11-14 days.
This is by no means scientific, and not all corns will cooperate 100% with the schedule. The weight ranges I gave for the prey and snakes are approximate.
