well I found out that I NEED to keep clips in Ares' tank! D: I was going through laundry and picked up my 50s'-ish polka dot dress and tossed to the floor ((A 3 foot drop MAX)) ignoring the extra weight in it until I see a red "rope" slither back under it....ARES! I pick up the folds of the dress and sure enough! Ares the corn snake is staring at me a bit surprised by hu sudden trip! I've seen him pushing at the screen top for a couple of days, I'm guessing since it's mating season and I have 2 females in the same room...well I didn't THINK he could escape...note to self don't THINK just put the damn clips on!!
 
What I FORGOT to put in that post was: Should I expect any injury from his 'trip'? I checked him over and he SEEMED fine and of course I'll keep an eye on him but would a 3 foot MAX fall hurt him terribly? I have a carpets floor and he was pretty much wrapped in the dress...
