ate her shed????

tsuki

snake charmer
so i noticed that Tsuki is no longer milky looking and i did not find a shed in her tank... she is gravid and im guessing that maybe she shed and ate it? do snakes do this? i know my geckos would do it but never heard of a snake doing this. any input?

and her lay bin is in there, just in case she did shed and wants to give me a surprise clutch of eggs.

She didn't eat it. They clear up and then about 4-7 days later she will shed. You should find a shed in the next few days :)

Ok so she just went clear like in the last day? Then no she did not eat it. When I read the title I thought you had seen her do it, lol. I do know for a fact if they get the shed in the water dish it will desolve! I had it happen twice so I watch very closely from the time they go clear until I find at least part of the shed then check them for skin retention. Just in case.

ive never noticed her going clear before the shed before but its good to know that this is "normal" sweet i'll have eggs within two to three weeks!

thanks!
