i need help with the avatar and the WRITING ABOVE!!!

i have pics of my snake but they all come up in PAINT anyway.....can u get the writing above even if u dont have the pic>????

To change the status of MEMBER, go to your User Control Panel, click on Edit Profile, scroll down to Custom User Text, and change it to whatever you want.

for the Avatar pic you have to resize it to 50 X 50 Pixels and it should be saved as a jpg or gif file (I think)...correct me, anyone if i am wrong.
