Baby corn snake escaped!

My baby corn has been missing for about 35 hours now !

I have done everything from flour lines, tape rolls, plastic bags, to hot spots in the room he was lost and the second floor.

My snakes and I are in a loft. Temps outside of the cages range from 60F at floor level to 70F midway up.

Simple loft floor plan:

My main concern is the VENT.
It is a straight drop 40 feet down into hot vents in the basement.
would the snake have dropped down? ( hes a gonner if so :(
hes about the length of 2 pencils and the girth is a bit bigger then a pencil.
I have a feeling he would have fit though, but would he really just "drop"?

Thanks!

I cant stop looking :( even as I get tired and loose sanity.

You have to searh for him in the unusual places you can imagine.
the back of the fridge your closet in every lil den in your loft
n yes it´s possible he dropped down there but most the time he didnt exit your loft.
look in your shoes everywhere.
i found a corn escaped in a coat hook.
so dont give the lil critter up try givin him the time to come out of his hide n yeah that maybe means one or two night shift if ya know what i mean because i think ya knows that corns are night active snakes ;-)!

I feel like a dummy :( I decided to have a sleep last night after looking for so long!
Within the 5 hours that I was sleeping, he had to of been on the move!
When I woke up, I checked on everything ,and surely enough, The flour I put down in a doorway on the second floor had movement in it!

It looks like he made it down the stairs from my loft :(
It also looks as if he left the room he was in, and did not return... (I followed the flour for about 3 feet then it's gone.

I had bottle traps AND heat-pads in the loft and RIGHT in front of the room he abandoned!, but still no-go :(

Now I'm worried about the main floor, then the basement...
I'm surprised my Cat or Dog have not gone after him to be honest.

PS. I'm positive he was the one to move through the flour, as I had a gate up infront of the room with a TINY way to get through back into the Hall.

I'll be up for sure tonight!

Is it worth setting another bottle trap up on the floor he might be on? I only have 1 pinky left :(

Thanks!

Put his cage down where you think he might be. Mine never went for any of my traps but I found her back in her cage just chillin' out.

think havin marks in the flour trap i s stiull a singn he´s still in the house so keep ya head up mate.
try to stuff every hole under the doors aso where he might can escape.
Last thing i can imagine gettin him is a bit rough but sometimes the last option not so well stucking duck tape like a glue trap ya know what i mean?!

You can use tape traps if you want, but DON'T do duct tape. It's too strong and will pull off scales if he gets caught in it, most likely resulting in permanent scarring.
