Backbone ridge

My anerythristic female, Matilda, has a backbone ridge. Plus, she's a bit weaker than usual. Her appetite, however, is still extremely healthy. Does anyone know what's wrong with my corn?

I currently have a male like that. Read my most recent post "I'm in need of a protozoan expert".

What does your snake's poop look like? Normalish? More pale than it should be? Looks like it has organs or undigested mouse parts in it?

Get a fecal done on a FRESH sample, and tell you vet to view at 1000x on the smear with no dye, just fecal matter and saline. The bugs I found were TINY, like absolutely TINY.

Well-

Matilda's poop is fine (although it really stinks). And she actually isn't really that weak. It's just the backbone ridge that worries me. Is that a sign of emaciation, or stress? If not, what?

How old is your snake? If it's real old it could be getting geriatric. Does she have folds of skin near the neck? If so that could point to dehydration. What do you mean by it really stinks? Does it smell normal or does it smell off? I would really have it checked out with a good snake vet, a more sinister problem could be the cause of a spine ridge sticking out.

Erm... I don't know how old she is because I got her as an adult. There aren't any folds around the neck. And it smells normal...
