beautiful BRB's: a comparison (blue, and freshly shed)

well it just so happened that our pair of BRB's shed schedule worked out so that the female was in the deepest blue i've EVER seen, and the male was freshly shed. just thought you might like to see the difference in the skins!

PS - no, they are absolutely NOT cohabbed, i just set the male down in the females cage to get a few snapshots.

i can only imagine! same with my snow corn. the ONLY way i can tell if he's going to shed is if i happen to catch him on the ONE day his eyes go cloudy!

Very neat photo! Beautiful snakes, too! It kind of looks like the male is being haunted by the female. He's got his head all tucked under like, "Go away! Ghosts aren't real!" But she's very persistent... (I make up stories in my head, because I'm weird.)

Congrats on getting the pair- BRBs are beyond beautiful!!

Its crazy how blue they get! Perhaps it's something to do with the high iridescence- I almost couldn't a blue sunbeam was the same species of snake when I saw one!
