WHOA!!! 300 grams? At a year old? That's like REALLY incredible!! WHAT DO THEY HAVE IN THE WATER OVER BY YOU, HAMBURGER?? LOL!! She doesn't even look like a "porker" in any of those pics! (Very nice shots, BTW).

I thought my yearling (Ozzy) was kinda fat as he hovered at around 175 grams for his Hatch/Birthday at the end of July. He weighed 187 grams prior to being fed yesterday. But by comparison, your little sneaky one is almost twice as heavy! At that rate, I wonder how she'll be by her second birthday! (My adult snakes are all 8 years old and during the first year, my Lilly was similar to your Bella. She reached 3 feet & 300 grams prior to her second birthday, leaving Chili-Pepper & Bozo in the dust, comparatively speaking. However, for some reason, she just seemed to stop growing once she hit 350 grams, sometimes hovering around 400 - 475 when gravid - and at just slightly over 3 feet, while her male counterparts kept growing! Bozo is now about 930 grams and Chili almost 800, both slightly over 5 feet. They've all been fed at about the same rate (a jumbo mouse every 2 weeks or a small rat every 3). Really strange & interesting are the variable rates at which corns appear to grow.

Either way I think that Bella's just awesome! I hope you keep us updated as to her progress!

Wow, where did a year go? I guess Bella got the big girl jeans, er, genes. Cleo is a month older and less than half her size and she's big compared to many!

Bella looks great. Love the tongue shot. They don't only "taste" the air I've noticed. Cleo was doing that to my doorstop brick last night, which is not the cleanest and I kept saying "ewwww" and she kept doing it, but I digress, lol.

:dancer::dancer::dancer: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BELLA! :dancer::dancer::dancer:

Otis is still a small little guy and only eating fuzzies still!! He will only eat once a week so it's hard to get him to gain much weight!! I'm starting to wonder if maybe Bella wasn't sexed correctly!! She is huge!!!! I will take some pics of Otis later on!!

I'd love to have a 300g yearling. :) I think I need someone to inspire my 23g yearling...

Any time one of my corns wanders to the floor I have to check their mouth for cat hairs...

Is there sexual dimorphism of growth rates? That growth rate alone should not be a sign of being missexed.
