Blood during breeding

This is the first lock between this pair and when I checked on them I saw quite a bit of blood. I've seen this before with another pair of mine last year but it wasn't this much. They both seem fine but my question is are they done for the breeding season or can they still be paired up a little later after some time to heal and if they can be paired up, how long should I give them time off for before reintroducing them?

I've heard of some blood during breeding, it never happened until this year (and that's relatively "just a little" comparatively to what happened here with one pair this year).
Though she made quite a mess, I repeated the pairing 3 days later and the second time there was no bloody mess. Cherry pops? Beautiful pair of Frosted Okeetee Phase Anerys there.
 
Same as Dave here, I had a "Bloody mess" to clean up, my first one ever. Seems to not be a big deal to them at all. I quit pairing them just to be on the safe side, but I don't think that's necessary unless you can visually see something amiss. I would wait a week or so to re-pair maybe?
 
Thanks for the advice :) I wasn't sure if the bleeding would be a breeding season ender or not. I think I'll wait about a week and pair them up again and see what happens.
 
I realize this is an old post, but hoping to find out how this turned out!
I had a bloody mess from a pairing today. Male has bred before...female is approx. 4 year old and this was her first breeding. They've been paired several times this year, but never saw any signs of copulation. When I paired them last night, they showed more interest, but didn't do anything before I went to bed. Got up this morning and found a big pile of poo mixed with blood and another pile of blood on the other side of the cage. No injuries on either snake and neither act like their cloacal areas were tender or hurt.
I won't pair them again for a week just in case, but I was curious how your situation turned out!
