Blue bulbs for lighting 24/7?

I may be getting a Ball Python pretty soon, so to add an aesthetic touch to the enclose of it, I plan to put some blue lights over the enclosure, which apparently don't affect the day/night cycle of BPs.

Now, I would also like to add blue lights to my corn's enclosure, but I'm not sure if it will mess with his day/night cycle. Does anyone know if having blue lights on the enclosure will negatively affect a corn?

That really depends on the bulb, something like the ExoTerra Moonglo is designed to throw light without emitting alot of heat. the light is intended for night time viewing as it is reminiscent of moon light. They achieve this by adding some "rare Earth" mineral to the glass. I have used this bulb with my leopard geckos but have not used it with a snake yet. It did not affect my goeckos night time activites and I was able to watch normal night time behaviour and allow a night time drop in temperature.

i would not put it on 24/7 only put it on at night and ad daytime you can put a uva bulb put it on a cycle of 12/12 and you'll be fine
