I would also like to add some questions...
1. Is a prebreeding time needed for females to breed?
2. How do you know if its time for the females to be breed?

I recommend the Corn Snake Manual by Bill and Kathy Love
which can be ordered on amazon.com

Breeding season starts in early spring and usually ends in early summer, but as you can see, a lot of corns are just now laying.

It is not required that you brumate corns and they will reproduce without hibernating.

A nine month old corn will not be affected by the breeding season, but an older corn may go off feeding when they have their mind on "finding a mate."

The female will usually breed after their first shed following hibernation. I haven't exactly discovered the trick to when they'll breed without hibernating. Just stick em together--trial and error.
