Cali-King feeding response~~

Bluebird

lovin my Okeetee boy
has so much more 'oompf' than my corns..lol

Finally this kingsnake is becoming more easy to handle and feed :)
I was worried that I bit off more than I could chew when I got him..lol...but I'm learning..lol He hasn't shed in a while, so It should be coming soon, and hopefully it will take care of those damaged scales he has from retained sheds while at the petstore.

He's feeding wonderfully..loves'em HOT :devil01:

Here 's Indiana tonight.. he's a wee 32 grams:)

LOL. My B&W King has a vicious feeding response too... one time she latched onto my pointer finger and wouldn't let go. Had her on there for about 30 minutes!

Yours is very handsome. Looks much larger in the first pic!

Congrats!

Oh god..don't tell me that!..lol I have yet to be tagged by any of my snakes...*knock on wood*...hopefully this king will only continue to musk when startled...its not even attempted to tag me, although after a feeding it will strike the side of the feed box when I go to transfer him back into his viv. I don't touch him to put him back...lol...I just put the bin in his tank and he climbs out..lol...I'm a chicken:D

I do that with my corns. Not that I'm afraid of getting tagged, but of stressing them and causing a regurge. I'm a worry wart.

Ohhhh! Sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you. That's the LAST thing in the world I wanted to happen. When mine latched on to my finger, she, indeed, was there for 30 minutes... but it didn't draw blood and I could hardly feel it. As a matter of fact, my wife and kids were laughing their eyes out as this little thing tried to constrict my finger.

Not to worry, almost all Cal Kings settle down when they're older. Mine (Jocasta) has settled down so much, I'm letting her stay at my daughter's 2nd grade classroom starting tomorrow. THAT's how positive I am that she'll behave! LOL.
