Hey people,
I'm having a hair tearing out time trying to set up by website :dunce:
I really need some help here...does anyone know how (and can explain to me in very simple terms!) how to do this: basically i want to have a diagram of a horses muscular system and for the viewer to be able to click on each muscle and bring up a text box (or similar) of what that muscle is, what it does etc. See I can't even explain what I want well! Grr. Stupid computers :flames:

You probably want someone that is well versed in flash and or javascript for a task like that.

Don't blame the computer :crazy02: People spend years learning how to code websites. What you want to do is in the realm of someone that has been doing this for a while. Start out SLOW and build up to this. Any good site is a work in progress.

You would not expect to be winning the Boston Marathon when you had been running for only a couple of days; would you?
 
Sigh I know but I just wanted everything done yesterday! Umm what package am I using...err dunno? It's hosted by freewebs.com does that make any sense?? Poo, I suck at this!
 
If you see a page that you like, try clicking 'View' --> 'Source'.

This will show you the source code for that page. Try incorporating it into something you like. You can also ask the site administrator / webmaster to help you. People can be surprisingly helpful when discussing their code (they can also be guarded and stand-offish :sidestep: ).

Try Goggle searching for techniques on what you want to do.

Read tutorials and check out free script sites (hotscripts, etc.)

I would look into encrypting your email address so the web crawlers can't get it.

Racheal send me a pm and ill give you my e-mail you can mail me the picture and i will map the thing for you, ive done it before and works a little slow (plus it will stop me playing Rome total war) fialing that i will slice the image and then place alt markers on it.
