Hi...we are still looking for our lost cornsnake in our house. We set up a heated area and placed a thawed out dead mouse in it. We don't know where the snake is so I am wondering how far the snake can smell the mouse and since the mouse is not living if it can even smell it at all? It has been lost for a full week now with no trace of him. Thanks!

Yes, it can smell the mouse. Is the mouse inside a container where the snake can get to it and you can catch the snake? Otherwise, the snake might eat the mouse and go off to digest and you'll miss it.
