can you feed a corn a chicken egg?

A chicken egg is probably too large, and can give them pretty smell poops, but quail eggs are a totally fine treat. But should be used as a rare treat because they can be fattening and not quite all of what the snake needs for healthy bones and muscles :)

hmm i have trouble understanding how a chicken egg is too big. the chicken egg is about the size of the widest part of my snakes body

i tried offering it anyways tonight but he didnt take it. i heard most snakes wont unless they are wild caught.

Thats also true, snakes just wont eat eggs some times if they dont know what it is. Some species of snake have built in barbs to cut eggs so they can collapse the egg, but others dont and they have to crush it on their own. Also, if you snake isnt able to easily adjust the positioning of the hard egg in its gut it could cause problems or regurge. you might be able to move them up to a chicken egg if they are a very large adult corn with some pretty sturdy muscle mass, but I would stick to smaller bird eggs until your snake gets used to them or is ready to move up to a chicken egg.
So yeah, not that you couldnt do it..but it would prolly just be easier.
I get quail eggs for my milk snakes from time to time, they love those things! and they are pretty easy to find at grocery stores or local markets.
lemme know how it goes! Watching your snake eat eggs is fun and interesting, I hope yours decides to give it a try :)!

I used to have a pair of zebra finches who would lay eggs all the time and I would feed them to Zade when she was smaller. She loved them.
