Hi!

If I breed two candycanes what offspring would I get? Will they be candycanes or will they be a mix of amel, snow anery? How can I see if they really are candycanes when they hatch?

You'll get amels. Whether or not they will be candy canes is impossible to tell. They'll only be snows in the clutch if both candy canes are het for anery.

It's nearly impossible to tell which snakes will become candy canes as hatchlings.

Yes , Joejr14 is right . A candycane is a selective bred amel (reducing the yellow).
I do breed candycanes for several years and have sometimes some amels in the clutch . They are a result of candy x candy but if they don't match on the description of a candy , then I sell them as amel .
What I also noticed is that you have the possibility of having red/white and more like orange/white candy's in the same clutch .
Wish you good luck and let us know by pictures . :santa: :wavey:
