Can't view threads

For the past 3 days now, I have been unable to view many threads. I get sent to an error page that reads

503 Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily busy, try again later!

This doesn't happen with all threads, maybe 50%. Oh, and I do try later, they're still down.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I feel like I'm missing out on so much!

I decided to try viewing in Internet Explorer, and it works. Firefox still won't work :shrugs:

I know this is an old thread, but as it's the same issue, I figured I'd bump it up. I only get it once a week or so, and it's only with threads that have new posts. I'm using Firefox version 3.0.3, though this has been happening ever since I signed up for the forums, so the problem was with older versions of FF as well. I'm not sure if it happens with IE, as I don't use that browser.

Logging out and logging back in fixes the problem every time. Any thoughts on what's going on?

Oh, and when I originally attempted to post this reply (despite the fact I don't think I've posted at all today on the board) I got the 'This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 30 seconds.' message. Could those errors be connected?

Interesting. Though it didn't show the posts actually being posted (to me), it did post them. Very odd.

Have you cleared your cache' ?? 9 times out 10, I've found that clearing the cache' solves most problems. The only problem I've noticed with FF3 is that I can't view flash movies without turning off Ad Block Plus.

Well, that's what does solve the problem. I'm more wondering why the problem arises in the first place. There's some bad coding somewhere, or a browser conflict. It's just a minor annoyance, but I was wondering if it had been looked into.
