Although I spent a day gawking at beautiful felines.....I was also volunteering for the humane society's booth. We had a great time, saw some neat kitties and even had a few adoptions! To top it off, some of our kitties even placed in the pet category and received lovely ribbons. :cool:

...even though this guy had an uncanny resemblance to my blue Chow Chow, the ribbon says "cat". :p

I would LOVE to attend a cat show, though I suspect my allergies would love it far less. Thanks for the pictures!
 
Thanks guys! It was quite an experience- I never knew persians with such long, long hair ever existed! I know how different dog breeds are, but there is also an amazing variety in cats!

Siberian cats are a great breed that I finally got a chance to meet. I chatted with an owner (only had a single show cat) who actually imported it from Russia. They seem more natural than many of the other breeds.....and they don't produce the dander that makes most people allergic. I'm a sucker for the longhaired ones!!
 
Wow! Really nice pics!! I love going to cat shows. My cat Onyx is a Cornish Rex and we took him to few shows to get him qualified. Poor little guy has a funny profile so he did not earn many points, but he had a really fun time and enjoyed all the people.
