Changes in color and brightness!

Hello all,

My corn just shed and I just wanted to post some pics. This would be the first time I used the Photo Gallery.

Anyway, I can't find any of his baby pics other than the one in my profile but you can get a good idea of how much change there is from that as well. The first pics are when he was 7 to 8 months old. The last three are from his recent shed (today) and he is 11 to 12 months old.

So, without further ado, here is Orion:

Now for the recent shed pics:

The last three pics are natural light with no flash at all. I was standing in the sunlight in my front yard. His colors really are that bright! :D Everytime he sheds he looks more and more like a Creamsicle to me but being a Pet Smart "fancy" corn there is no way for me to trace lineage for emoryii roots. :(

That means little though as, even if he were some kind of snake/elephant hybrid, we would love him just the same. :roflmao:

I hope you enjoyed the pics and have a good day/night. :D

Stunning...Looking...Snake!!!

Two things come to mind, immediately.

1. He looks to be "banded." Is that right?

2. My boy, Cappy, has the EXACT same coloring as yours did when he was little. Cappy is only a couple months old...and now I get an idea of what he'll look like in a year. Needless to say...I'm thrilled!!!

Cappy was a PetsMart purchase...and the reptile lady (and I) were shocked that such a gorgeous animal came in the same shipment as the normals they usually sell. I think Cappy (and yours) is a Creamsicle...perhaps a Flourescent???

Beautiful corn you have there. Enjoy him!!!

Thanks guys! It's been a lot of fun watching him and his colors mature so far. I can't wait to see what surprises he has in store later on. :D

I found some of his baby pics! He was about 1 to 2 months old in these pics! :D

Here they are:
