Complete novice ISO young but not baby snake

I am in the process of helping my 10 year old get a baby corn. From all I've read his age and our inexperience point to getting a slightly older snake. Nevertheless there is a lot of fun factor in "baby anythings". He seems to like just about any morph he sees...the next color variant he claps eyes on is his "favorite" although more often than not he seems attracted to the back and white varieties and carmel /orange colored sorts...guy colors..."no pink and purple snakes, mom". He has raised every penny of money for his new pet by making and selling duck tape wallets...has the cage, heating, probes, hides...only needs the snake. We conviently live only 20 min from Hamburg, Pa and there is a show in 3 weeks. Are any of you bringing any juvenile snakes, good eaters, calm attitudes? Or does any have another recomendation for me? I am willing to go the shipping route if necessary, but a child really wants that hands on picking out experience. Failing that...does anyone have a suggestion of individual breeders I should look up at Hamburg? Thanks!

I don't live near you, but I'm sure that you will find something the age and temperament that you are looking for at the reptile expo.

I also suggest something a little older... he will get to hold it more, since it will be calmer.
Virtually all corn snakes are calm, most are good eaters. If you don't find what you are looking for, let us know.
