Okay, my female just shed about 20 min ago. The problem I'm having is this. She came out of brumation on Feb. 4. Now, I know that about 2 weeks or so after brumation, the female should shed, but she didn't. This happens to be the first shed she's had since being brought back up. This shed happens to be strategically placed to be perfect timing for either the post-brumation shed or the prenatal shed. I'm not very good at assessing whether there are eggs there or not, and I have her cohabitating with her mate (pulls out whip to fend off attackers). Should I reasonably expect eggs given this circumstance? She normally lays 2-5 days after her prenatal shed, which is convienent, so I have at least a little time before I see my little white globes of joy.
