Corn Acting Up

Got my first Corn on friday for sweetest day, and finally got to feed him yesterday (monday). I attempted to get him out of his viv, but he seemed to rear back and attempt to snap at me. So, i just let him go, and carefully placed a newspaper inside his viv with a pinkie on it. Took him about 5 mins to get it down and settled, but after that. He didn't go back to hiding, he explored his viv. Climbing over everything, even getting on top of the tree and relaxing. Also, my computer sits beside his viv and he'll poke his head out and just stare me. I'm not sure if it's a i'm mad at you stare, or a curious stare.

As i'm aware not to mess with them during 48 hours of feeding, i just placed my finger on the outside and he seemed to follow it around. But he def was very energetic. This normal after feeding?

Thats all totally normal. Babies are afraid of everything, so just reach in and grab it in one quick smooth motion. Get 'em before he has time to think about what your hand is. If you get bit...big deal. Their teeth are tiny.

if he does snap at you and/or bite you, dont just leave him. If you do he will learn that doing that will get rid of you when you put your hand in and he will be a biter. Its all about being patience at the start, i just want mine to be big now:cry:
