1) many of you may or may not know my corn is refusing pinks and only accepting geckos that i catch outside.ANYWAY i put him in his cage with a gecko in there and he burrowed showing no interest in the gecko.then about 15 seconds after burrowing i noticed the gecko being very close to where the snake was then all i saw was a big pile of aspen go all over the place and i didnt see the gecko for a few seconds when i finally saw him my snake was well on the way of eating him.and i was like :eek1:
has your corn ever done this??
i thought it was quite amazing.
2)i tried scenting the pink with a gecko tail and leaving it with him overnight in a deli cup.he just slithers right over it.any advice? :shrugs:
thank you.

D'oh...you fed him in a tank with aspen. You need to be careful, he will likely eat some of that aspen and then you will have major problems...problems bigger than the fact that he won't eat mice...he could die.

As for feeding, all you can do is keep trying and search the forum for possible suggestions. I got a corn from Terri awhile back that would only eat anoles, got it to eat pinkies twice but just wouldn't stay on them...I just kept feeding her anoles after that. There are many different ways you can try...just search the forum and you will find a few. The two times I did get her to eat there was either a part of the anole (skin or tail) on the pinkie or I had a lizard immitation liquid...I wouldn't suggest that.

And I don't know if wild caught geckos are that good either.

There's probably high risk of parasite/disease transfer
