I've been after a Corn Snake most of my life. Still don't have one yet and am waiting for the reptile show in March. My mom happens to have a Sugar Glider. For those who don't know they are a kind of squirrel like creature with flaps for flying and are marsupials. They don't get very big but far larger than a Corn Snake could eat.
Now this is where it gets interesting. Sugar gliders are vocal and bark or at least most do this one is pretty quiet. Like corn snakes sugar gliders are escape artists and actually learn how to open wire cage doors.
I'm worried about the possibility of these two bringing harm to each other and stressing one another out. Does anybody have any knowledge on keeping the two in the same room. I doubt many people have this combination of pets.
I may be surprised and find they don't bother each other. Regardless I do think this will make for an interesting mixture but I'll probably have to move the Snake into another room I just wanted some input from people who know these snakes before I do something that may cause stress. Also what would be some good tips to help reduce stress on the corn Snake fornthis kind of situation?
