Corn Snakes in West Virginia

TrpnBils

22 is not enough snakes
My wife and I are considering writing a grant proposal to do some field work in conjunction with the WV DNR. They give special consideration to researchers interested in working with species of special concern within the state. Corn snakes are listed as WV reptiles, although to my knowledge there was only 1 confirmed sighting in this state (1971) and it happened to be in the county where we currently live.

I'm curious to see whether anyone here has any additional information of sightings in this area or the nearby counties in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
