HELP! I fed irwin (snake) 4 days ago, as soon as he ate the pinky he burrowed and i couldent find him,i thought he had escaped, then i looked (from underneath) on the bottom of the tank and there he was, and i couldent see him breathing, but i checked back and he was in a different position, so i knew he hadn't died. But he is still there after 4 days, could he have hibernated by himself, or is it maybe because i moved his viv from my dads house to my mams? I didnt want to disturb him by diggin him out, CAN YOU HELP PLEASE!!!

My Corns usually disapear to digest their meals for 48 - 60 hours, four days seems pretty long though. More likely he is in shed. I have a snake that hides and hardly moves for 7 - 9 days when in shed. I wouldn't worry.

think of it as thanksgiving............you eat and you rest, he just takes longer. also, if the move was recent then he might still be getting used to his new house. if he had blue/cloudy eyes in the last couple of days then he could be in shed state.............please read the link in my signature, this will help with alot of your questions. :)

Sorted

Sorry for wasting your time, he is in shed, even the last time he shed i didnt see the cloudy colou in his eyes, but my dad said he did, i only know he is in shed because the skin on his head is starting to go rough and crack

Might want to check your humidity. My snakes' heads do not crack and peel prior to shedding...
