Dehidrated?

OK i just posted a thread and I was wondering what a dehydrated snake looks like? Mine has extra pieces of skin (I don't know how to explain it). It's like when a fat person looses a lot of weight and there's little pieces of fat skin left. That's the best I can explain it.

When i put her back i usually put her head around the water bowl and she usually chugs it. Is this just because she hasn't had a drink for a while and it's just coincidence. Or is it because she can't reach it??

(pictures would be nice)

Most snake tend to crawl around the outside perimeter of their cage so you could try to place the water bowl there. I would also place the snake near water bowl everytime you put him back in. How hight is the water bowl?? Maybe you could bury it in the substrate to help lower it. :shrugs:

does it look something like this? maybe not so bad or worse?

I noticed you posted another thread about your snake shedding... is it possible that your snake isnt deydrated but blue/shedding?

to test if your snake is dehydrated ...and i dont think yours is.. you make a wrinkle on the side of your snake by pinching the skin GENTLY and let go ...if the wrinkle stays its dehydrated...your snake is probably having a bad shed ...when i got my snake the first shed was incomplete but i learned what the eyes look like when hes in blue ...see your other post
