Did I hurt my snake?

My snake has been trying to shed for a couple of weeks. She is usually in blue for around 3 days and sheds pretty quickly after that. This time she went blue two weeks ago and then nothing happened. It was her feeding time so I got her out and measured her and got a weight on her. Finally got some scales. She is 38 1/2 inches long and weighs 357.4 kg. I then put her in her feeding tub and danced the mouse around. She grabbed it quickly so I left her alone to eat. I opened her feeding tub and reached in to get her and her skin was bunched up around her middle. She freaked out when I touched her and a band of loose skin came off in my hand. She was trying her best to get away and I was trying my best to see if all the shed came on. She was fighting so much that I gave up and put her in her viv. She still has a few places with loose shed on her. I don't know what to do. She has never regurged on me and I hope this doesn't make her get sick. She is in her favorite hide right now and I am afraid to bother her. What should I do? I stretched the shed that came off in my hands and the eye caps and tail tip were there. The shed was still really supple. We have been having very high humidity and temps in the 80's. I do not have an air conditioner so my room has been getting pretty hot. Could that have messed her up with her shed? I have a fan going but that is it for now. i also turned her heat mat off because it has been so hot and she has been staying near her water bowl.

She is most likely fine if her full shed is intact. You may have just startled her. Give her a few days to digest and settle down, then check her out. Normally you wouldn't feed if she's in blue or evidently shedding, but since she ate it I'm sure she's fine. If there is anything stuck on her then soak her then take a napkin or towel, or even your fingers and let her squeeze through it. That will hopefully get it off. If not, it'll most likely come off in the next shed. If you are worried, then when you see her go into blue put a shed box in with a damp paper towel or spagnum moss.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. I don't usually feed her when I know she is shedding but she didn't look like she usually does before she sheds. Her skin looked smooth when I was measuring her. She usually gets very wrinkled and white looking right before her shed and won't eat. We have been having very high humidity though. It has been at 65% all week. I will check her in a couple of days when I see her moving around. I fed her a smaller meal than usual too so that might help. Petland was out of larger mice.

I've found that my snakes head for their water bowl or humid hides when they are in the shedding process. When you fed her and she opened and stretched her mouth around the mouse it probably started the shedding process. I would leave her be to digest and then if she still has any shed stuck to her give her a soak.

I know snakes do not make their own heat. I was just hoping the air circulation will keep things cool enough for now. She has been laying in front of her viv stretched out on the hot days. She seems to like the fan. She has also been laying in her water bowl. Unfortunately she picked the small bowl to lay in. She has two water bowls, one big enough for her to lay in but she always just lays her upper half across the little one with her head resting on the edge and watches the fish. I have two fish tanks and she watches the fish swim around and will track them with her head. She seems so fascinated by them.
I looked in on her today and she seems to be okay. I didn't see any regurg. I will give her another day before I take her out to look at her.
