difference between candy cane and peppermint corns

Candy cane is an amel bred from Miami lines with a clean white background and orange or red saddles. Peppermint is the amel form of the cinder gene. I think that's right, I've been out of touch with some of the newest morphs myself.

^^ Yup! There's a noticeable difference between the two, but I can see where it would get confusing. Peppermint's aren't common at all, so you almost certainly wouldn't just happen to find one... they're pretty $$$!

You could always post a pic, though, and I'm sure someone would be able to ID it in no time. I would post it in the photo gallery if you do.

Species is corn snake either way.

You can get a decent candy cane for not too much but you'll pay $400 or so for a peppermint. Not many people have them right now, and they're not going to be just turning up at this point.

yea i actually have two. not sure exactly what they are but ill try to post some pics. the first is the corn in question adopted him from a friend about three months ago and its been great. i got him a friend last night. the first is red and pink/white and the second is yellow and white. i think the one in question might just be a common. either way, they are great.. well mannered and good handlers.
