Just so you guys know, Petsmart is having a 3 day sale until tomorrow- I just bought a brand new 40 gal breeder tank w/ locking lid for 75 bucks!
(People in my area don't care for reptiles much, there's rarely used tanks on Craigslist that I can actually use =/ )
Soooooooo, I scoured this site for ideas for making a divider for the tank so I could have the boys in it- I'll upgade them in a couple months, I just couldn't pass up the deal now.
I couldn't find on here what people were using and HOW they were using it- obviously I need something to divide the middle that is flush with the bottom, sides and goes right to the top- So if any of you have done this, what have you used? How have you accomplished this?
My friend has his two in a 55gal and he had someone cut plexi glass and then he used aquarium sealant to fill in the cracks- is that the best option or is there something easier I could do for the 40gal?
Just wanted to get everyone's opinion and what they think is best.
I originally wanted to go w/ 2 separate 20gal long tanks, but my apartment is small and it's a better space saver to divide one large tank.
Any input, help, tips, ideas, whatever are appreciated.
Thanks guys!
Here's the link to what I got, and their 3 day sale (Which, I worked at Petsmart for 6 years, and it's rare that they bring their prices down by this much- my tank was originally $120 or something)
