DIY climbing apparatus

I will eventually be getting a hatching corn snake and housing him in a 20 gallon high, but I'm looking for ideas for climbing setups for when he is a little older, and I become less paranoid about escapes, and let him closer to the top of the viv. I'm looking for setups that use ladders, specifically wooden bird ladders that can be arranged in an a-frame fashion. If any one has used this technique, please let me know how you set it up safely. Pictures would help immensely.

Personally I've noticed that a large Y- or V-shaped branch can be propped up rather easily. If you want to attach something, aquarium-friendly silicone can be used to glue things on glass or wood, and anything can be attached on a large wooden base to prop it up in case of plastic or net vivariums.
