does anyone know what snake puke looks like?

it depends on how long after eating the regurge happens.
If it is within hours, it will look just like the mouse the snake origionally swallowed, but a little squished out of shape. ive found that early regurges dont have TOO much stink at all. Over 12 hrs you will notice some decomposition. the last fuzzy that jackson regurged he kept down for about 20 hrs, and certain areas like the belly and head were black and slimy.. that one had a FOUL odor.... i would assume at the later the regurge happens, the nastier the mess looks!

it also depends on what the snake ate...
most regurgs will look like partially digested, very slimy mouse remains, but this is only if you fed your snake mouse.
One of the best indicators, as mentioned, is the smell which hits you as you enter the room, and is horrible.
