hi folks,

Im all sad today as i am down too one snake ;-(

Unfortunatly my garter snake that has been having feeding troubles died last night. He had escaped and been away for 9 months and he has been back for a week or so now.

The thing i dont understand is that he seemed to be getting better over the past few days he had been much more livly and showing slight interest in his food but i found him today and he was like cardboard:-(

But at least i still have my butifull crimson corn and he has shed now and also taken his first feed (off of my hand i should add) :) so at least thats taming the sadness.

hey thats a real shame :( Your Garter probably picked something up when he was off wandering...especially after 9 months in Scottish weather! He probably was getting better but relapsed or something. Anyway, he'll be enjoying himself in snake heaven now :p ... make sure your crimson doesn't get loose (or I'll come find him and steal him!) I doubt my corns will even try to escape just now with this awful weather we are having!
