Dumb Question?

Do Corns go through any kind of growth spurts or anything? My corn normally has an awesome food response, and 'kills' the mouse. But today s/he was crazy! I was trying to open the feeding container after I went and got the mouse out of the hot water, and it was coming out of the container and striking at me and everything. My snake is pretty good with being handled, and is usually well behaved in the feeding bin. I didn't feed late either.
I'm not worried, it was just interesting and kind of funny to watch.

No question is a stupid question. I am sure she was just a little more excited than norm. I might evaluate her and see if maybe she needs to he bumped up a meal size but if her current food is the correct size than I am sure she is just excited. I have some that will do that occasionally.
