Nice little snake there!
Congrats that it has fianally eaten for you....

the pic doesn't show the vent....and even if it did....pictures are not accurate in identifying the sex of a snake....espeically hatchlings....adults...somethings it works sometimes it doesn't....so it's really hard to help you determine the sex of your snake....sorry about that...

There are two ways. One is "popping" where you kind of press on an area near the vent to make the hemipenes of a male show. You have to have someone experienced show you how to do it though, or you'd risk damaging the reproductive organs or something
There is also a method called probing. The person uses a tool called a probe and inserts it into the vent. It goes deeper in males than females I think. Again, you must have an experienced herper show you before attemptingi t on your own.

Yes...I have to emphasis on this again....
remember you must NOT do this on your own...or else the hemipenes would be hurt...and the reproductive system much not function later on...so remember NEVER do it without someone showing you this........and I do mean NEVER!!!!!!!!!!1
