egg impaction

I previously wrote in with a question about my corn snake not being interested in eating. I was concerned she was getting ready to lay eggs again, which is what is happening. She did this a few years ago and I had to take her to the vet for help (she is about 18 years old). Well, she has laid three so far, but seems unable to lay the rest of them. It's been a couple of weeks since she laid the first three. I can tell she still has some near the end of her tail. It would be great if anyone has any ideas about this. Obviously, I will take her to the vet again, if necessary, but it was horrendously expensive last time and I would prefer not to have to do that again.

The only thing I can suggest is...if you have a friend that knows about egg impaction or binding, call them! If not, the vet is the best to go to.
