I wonder if.... the problem with slugs is more a male problem than a female problem... after all she created eight eggs... no real way to judge the contribution of the male, ya know?
Maybe the males need some extra pumping prior to breeding, I don't really know anything about breeding snake.. just seems a lot of people are having a lot of infertile eggs and I haven't seen many posts about preparing a male for breeding.
